A middle aged trader of electrical materials has been reportedly killed in his shop at Sijuade area of Akure.
The Sijuade- Oke Aro area has been reportedly terrorised by an unidentified robbery gang in recent time.
According to residents of the area who believed the gang killed the trader, the attackers came around nine o’clock in the evening shooting sporadically before aiming at the trader while some other residents got injured with stray bullets .
wife of the deceased who narrated the incident claimed the robbers did not make any demand before shooting her husband to death.
There have been heighten fears among residents over upsurge in burglars and robberies incidents even as the people just recovered from #Endsars protest hijacked by hoodlums.
