CSO Calls For Improved Attention to Orphan's Welfare

Some civil society organisation based in ondo state have appealed to government at all levels to give more priority to the welfare of orphanage homes in the interest of the vulnerables children in the society

The IBl foundation in collaboration with kids and teens resource centre made this known during the orphanage visit initiative to celebrate the 60th celebration of Nigeria with orphans and vulnerable children in ondo state.

The leaders of the two NGO ,Mr Ibrahim baba - INNA and Martin Mary falana said the initiative was in line with the sustainable development goals against poverty zero hunger ,good health and wellbeing of all.

The initiative tagged celebrating independence day with the orphans witnessed donations of foodstuffs household items among others

They said the outreach was extended to twenty orphanages in twenty states of the federation.

They appealed to well meaning Nigerians to assists the poor and the less privileged in the society .
