NGO Host over 200 Children To Cultural Festival in Akure


Over two hundred children have been hosted to a cultural festival organised by a non governmental
organisation to boost the interest of children in their cultural heritage .

The Executive Director ,Kids& Teens Resource Centre ,Folasade Bamigboye said this in Akure that the purpose was to help the children appreciate and cherish their culture and value system


According to her the programme is in fulfilment of the SDG goal 11 which aim to make cities and human settlement safe ,resilient and sustainable .

Also speaking the representative of national institute for cultural orientation Mr Dickson urged parents to teach their children to appreciate their culture and be an ambassador of it .

The chairman of the occassioñ ,Dr segun Faturoti said the event would go along way in promoting Nigeria's cultural heritage.

Two of the participant Dojumo olubusola and olowowanle Abooluwaga said the programme has also left indelible mark on their minds about the rich cultural heritage
