International federation of women lawyers, FIDA ,Ondo branch says it will ensure that Justice is served in the suspected case of a woman battered to death by her husband and father of three children .
A statement by the chairperson of the association Barrister Bola Joel-Ogundadegbe made available in Akure says domestic violence in the state is on the increase especially in the period of covid -19 .
The statement further stresses that women who suffer domestic violence should first of all leave the hostile environment to save themselves because when the violence meted on them by their spouses occur,the children suffer the loss of their mother and every child deserves the right to be nurtured by his/her mother .

The Association expresses sadness over the evil occurrence on the dead of late Mrs Oloruntuyi Atinuke who was severally abused by her husband until her death leaving behind three children of age seven, five and three .
FIDA promises to take proactive step to get justice for the bereaved family to serve as deterrent to other violent and abusive partners in the interest of a sane and secured society.
